Why This Works

The iron paradox: breast milk is intentionally low in iron (lactoferrin starves pathogens). Introducing high-dose heme iron before gut flora are established can feed pathogenic bacteria. Ferments-first approach.

Ingredients

  • Full-fat plain yogurt OR kefir
  • Optional: tiny pinch of cinnamon after week 1

Instructions

    Day 1-3: Offer ¼ tsp on clean spoon

  2. 2

    Day 4-7: Increase to ½ tsp

  3. 3

    Week 2: Build to 1 tbsp

  4. 4

    Observe for any digestive changes
